Your files are not our product.

Browser-local tools

Tools marked as processed privately in your browser operate on your device. Renderbound receives limited product telemetry such as the tool used, a coarse file-size bucket, processing duration, device class, success, and a sanitized failure code. We do not send the file, filename, or file contents with these events.

Server processing

Server-backed conversions upload directly from your browser to private Cloudflare R2 storage through a short-lived signed link. An isolated Cloud Run worker processes the file through a signed task. Temporary inputs and outputs are deleted after download when possible, with automatic deletion within 24 hours as the backstop.

Accounts and waitlists

If you sign in or join the Studio waitlist, we store the email address you provide. We use it for authentication, requested launch updates, service notices, and support. We do not sell personal information.

Error monitoring and replay

We use Sentry to receive privacy-scrubbed error reports and performance traces. A session replay may be buffered and sent only when an error occurs. All page text and inputs are masked; media, canvases, iframes, file inputs, request bodies, headers, cookies, query parameters, filenames, and file contents are blocked or excluded. We do not record ordinary sessions through Sentry.

Product analytics

With your permission, we use Mixpanel to understand the anonymous path from opening a tool to selecting a file, processing it, and downloading the result. Events contain the tool, device class, processing route, duration, outcome, sanitized failure code, and coarse file and memory size buckets. They never contain filenames, file contents, email addresses, or IP-derived location. Mixpanel tracking and persistence are disabled until you choose “Allow analytics,” and session recording and automatic interaction capture are disabled.

Analytics and service providers

We use Vercel for hosting and aggregate web analytics, Mixpanel for consented product analytics, Supabase for authentication and application data, Resend for authentication email delivery, and Sentry for error monitoring. These providers process limited data needed to operate and improve Renderbound.

Your choices

You can allow, decline, or change Mixpanel analytics at any time using “Analytics choices” in the footer. You may request access, correction, deletion, or removal from the Studio waitlist by emailing team@renderbound.com.
